This book, aimed at young audiences, continues the work presented in the first volume published in 2005, with brief text, easy to read and richly illustrated. It highlights the presence of electricity in the daily lives of people from Rio de Janeiro between 1950 and 1970, focusing on the aspects directly related to children and teenagers experiences. The work is enriched with information on children recreation forms, both in public spaces and in their homes, listening to the newest album in the record players, reading a comic book or having fun with a toy that had just been promoted on TV.
